  2. Nobody is saying that, James. The destroyers are an angry undisciplined minority -- just as Trump and his anger-mongers on the right are an undisciplined minority. His threat of militarizing the country is a ver-ree anti-American and fortunately minority view.

  3.  @timex1735  There's some truth in that, "Timex," but it's a bad time to play with irony and misdirection. The fact is most cops are decent human beings, and many of them face horrible stresses. The truth in what you post is that a small minority of them are racists, thugs, and other sorts of bad guys -- and, further, Trump's entire political act consists of bringing out the worst in people, giving permission to people's worst instincts. This has turned out badly with some of his followers among police, it's true.
