  1. David Cameron tried to use the Argentinian, banana-republic, tool of mass-vote to dish his own right wing -- and lost because he's a clueless git. Referendum is everywhere and always a tool of the moneyed interests that can use advertising and the stirring of emotion to "ratify" artificial yes-no versions of complex problems. The person who uses referendum is, out of malice or out of stupidity, undermining representative democracy. It's time to identify the crisis for what it was, Cameron's subversion of process for his own, mistaken and wicked, political ends.
