  1. How is it "militarization" of the South China Sea now but it wasn't when the French moved into Indo-China, when the English took over (and named) the Spratleys, and then, more recently, the United States started filling the joint up with aircraft carriers?

There is nothing democratic about eighty years of French rule and thirty of American domination of Vietnam, is there? As for the South China Sea, what's your theory, water should have a vote?
