  1.  @tatata1543  Not really Competent frauds start in billions. This guy's original fraud only scammed about $88 million. That's maybe one seventy-fifth of what Madoff pulled off. Currently he's working a different scam, selling stock on the basis of lies about his retail performance. This remains to be litigated, and may end up simply being punished by the market when he goes broke, i.e. when he stops being able to get enough new suckers to pay his sales losses.
