  1. Seth (and Kaitlin Kelly, below) misunderstand Trump -- and in doing so they very much underestimate the weirdness of what Trump is saying. It becomes clear once you understand which Trump is speaking here, the tax bit around 2:20. This is his Inner Democrat. He is talking about a Democratic Bill from the House being filibustered by "his" Republicans in the Senate. Hence his perfectly accurate assessment that he would need to find ten sane Republicans to pass any sensible Democratic legislation -- and that ain't gonna happen.
