  1. 2:41: "If you put your money isn a savings account, inflation takes it." The DW autopilot strikes again. The fact is, interest on savings accounts will always and everywhere be priced to cover inflation. Barely, perhaps -- but exactly in contradiction to DW's unthinking statement. Yeah, it's complicated. It varies. These are exactly the facts that documentary television is supposed to inform us about -- and in DW's case doesn't.
