  2.  @olympics1234567  Nobody is suggesting the forgetting of history. It would be a good idea to start remembering it. E.g. the "Civil" war was a war in which white plantation owners sent poor whites to fight and die to preserve their ability to hold slaves. (The Confederate Army gave exemptions for slave owners. Owning slaves was like having bone spurs: you didn't have to sign up.) Glorifying the winners by putting them up on brass horses does not help remember history. It helps obscure history. Got it?
