Sounds good. doesn't work. It's been tried. Disaster every time. The way to limit bad guys' terms is simple: you vote them out. Term limits have always been a disaster because ability follows the 80-20 rule. Limits ditto. They tend to nail the productive 20 more than the slack 80.

There was exactly no "getting rich on our tax dollars" in the Pelosi story. She is a very smart lady. Also honest. Basically, she's rich because her husband is a billionaire real estate developer -- but mostly because she is tough, smart, and decent.

Donald Anglin Donald Trump has made a lot of noise and carried out a few (ver-ree expensive) actions. Whether you think those actions are for or to the country is a matter of opinion. When you write things like "Plus they just reach in and vote themselves .few grand pay raises" it might be better if you were a bit more precise about who you mean by "they." As things stand, it looks as though you are just making stuff up, or whining at random, or repeating the whines of people even more ignorant than yourself. Any of these three would be harmful in their own small way to the level of political discourse. I'm sure you don't what to do that...

Donald Anglin Depends on who your "we" is -- and if you think one more yacht and Ferrari is worth throwing the entire country under the bus, doesn't it? The latter makes the unlikely assumption that you Anglin, are one of the ver-ree few who don't lose in direct financial terms from a Trump re-election. I.e. the wealthiest 2%. But in that case, I'm not your "brother," am I? You can't have it both ways.

@Donald Anglin I just read "The Faith of Donald Trump" last week. It says that Trump has a faint and distant affiliation with Presbyterianism and that American Presbyterianism once, long ago, had an extremely reactionary, indeed medieval, indeed pre-Presbyterianism, aspect to it, of which the author would approve if it actually existed. It made no plausible connection between the two themes, and indeed the book had a preface by a well-known right-winger expressing amazement that anyone would contemplate writing or publishing such a book. The publisher must have thrown it in for shortage of copy with the full satisfaction, illusory given my existence, that nobody would ever read it. I point this all out to you to emphasize the inanity of anything Donald Trump might say, least of all to the United Nations on the subject of faith. . * * * The Faith of Donald J.
