Hannity's whole Klan-riot stuff is not merely in-group code-wording, but in-group code-wording so ancient that poor Vance is squinting in incomprehension -- like he thinks Hannity ir referring to some old Taft mythology from before his, Vance's, birth! Yes, Hannity, there was a time when the Democrats supported the Klan -- before your Barry Goldwater took all that stuff over and made it the Republican Solid South. The whole auto industry thing is of course a total lie: everybody can see the video -- and Trump clearly pauses, changes the subject away from the auto-industry, and then goes into his bloodbath rant from a new zero baseline.
