@AdamBrusselback Agreed. And two things she shares with all the really smart people I've ever known: First, she says "I don't know" quite a lot. At the times when she runs into something she doesn't know, to be precise. 🙂 And the second thing, related to the first: when she uses a simplified version of things, a necessary intellectual shortcut, she will explain what she's doing, pay tribute to the somewhat greater accuracy available if you want to talk to the specialists, gives the experts their due, and then carries on. Both brilliant and graceful!

@parvswami India regained its independence while the British Prime Minster was the Labour Party's Clement Atlee. Churchill at one point much earlier said "I am not become the King's first minister in order to preside over the dissolution of the British Empire." He was quite right. That fell to his long-time side-kick Anthony Eden in the 1960's.
