American car dealers, for instance, send hundreds of billions of dollars' worth of yen to Toyota in Japan. Still, he needs to be more careful: facts are facts.

  3. It's also useful to know what every auditor says in every signed audit, roughly, "This company's reports report what they report they report." Every mainline auditor's work very carefully avoids claiming that the auditor stands by the truth of any number or claim that they have audited. Quite the contrary: almost every audit very specifically states that they don't.
