I don't think Shilling is delusional, I just think he's a businessman, not an economist any more, and here he's saying what he thinks his customers want to hear. Certainly everythng he says here looks delusional though. China is the one selling finished goods. The US is the country exporting raw materials, the exact opposite of what he says. As for his "Who's going to buy it?" query, the answer is anybody in Asia and Africa. There are more middle class Africans than there are middle class Americans. Ditto for Asia.
