@royalspin The mysterious and evil "they" strikes again!

That's a horrible thing to say about Shauberger, "a scientist I liken to Tesla," but quite plausible. Like the con-man Tesla, he seems to have had a few good ideas and to have combined them with a whole lot of high-flown bullshit.

@royalspin That's delusional. Tesla didn't "come up with" alternating current. In Westinghouse's fight with Edison, Tesla made lofty pronouncements from his bar-stool. He hit it lucky, taking Westinghouse's side. Westinghouse rewarded him by paying him well for some trivial patents on speculative multi-phase power transmission which have never found practical use. The last (and only) huge transmission station for Tesla's entirely lunatic power transmission system was recently broken down and sold for scrap lumber in New Jersey.

There is nothing "natural" about the flume he copied at 4:14. It is quite obviously an artificial stone channel, and because it wasn't big enough for the lumber industrialists' use he built a bigger one.

@DannyBoyle-tp5vg Tesla was a second-rate con-man whose theories about energy were mostly bunk. He hit it lucky just once, picking Westinghouse over Edison in the alternating-current dust-up. That was just public relations, not science. The only time he was above water may have been when he sold Van der Graaf generators to Hollywood for their sci-fi movies. That's those nice sparky machines which no, Tesla didn't invent. It's said Tesla died broke. This is an understatement. He didn't pay his bar bills at the Waldorf Astoria, and eventually they cut him off.

@just1john Reich, the orgone box nut? Maybe not quite that bad. Tesla gave it his best shot, though.

@DannyBoyle-tp5vg Donald Trump, his near neighbour on Fifth Avenue, is just as good as Tesla ever was, maybe better. They're both major league con men, but Trump is a heavier hitter in the bankruptcy department. Tesla, on the other hand, is the clear leader in stiffing bars for his booze bills.

@just1john Naww, facts don't seem to be your thing, John. But if you ever snap out of sneer mode I'd be happy to join in any scientific speculation you bring to the table.
