  1. The version of Dunkirk given here, around 24 minutes in, is untrue. The Luftwaffe was absent and any sensible interpretation has to be that Germany hoped to seduce England into making peace. The 15-second recounting of the Fall of France misses the essential point, that the French right-wing stabbed the country in the back. Vichy France was just Mussolini without the spaghetti.
