There's a technical term. (Perhaps several.) Um. "Extreme stupidity"?

TRUMP 220000

@AberdeenRedpath They hired this girl to work in an environment that was visibly dangerous , and which is now demonstratedly lethal. That's obviously one or more torts, and, ianal, probably several different crimes. More cynically, Walmart would seem to me very unwise not to pay the family enough to shut the whole thing down ver-ree quickly. If they don't, it's going to be litigated, and hence expensive -- more expensive than whatever it would be wise for them to lay out toot sweet.

"Dear Justin" somehow didn't make it into the footnotes.
19
Boo, hiss, that's not a sinkhole, that's just an ambitious pothole. "Sinkhole" starts when you swallow a building, or at least a building inspector.
19
Yup. The ones in the Electoral College in January.
11
Pious old grifter.
8
@Matts000 they're know their kids' lives
8
Because the present one, PP, is making a fool of himself, day after day after day, Leafy.
8
Why is a telephone company allowed to own non-telephone assets? How will we feel when our water bill includes subsidies for some water guy's decision to invest in used car dealers?
7
Rats. Ship. Next question.
7
"Ambassador to Belgium {eye-roll}" Lol!
7
20th consecutive best seller: some has-been!
7
@davidbrennan5 More likely he'll get seven-to-life, just on the tax fraud cases. Multiple, but concurrent. All the other stuff will be worth twenty or more, but Biden will probably pardon him as soon as he's had a three-month taste of Club Fed.
7
Trump, trump, trump -- boots marching through the streets. And the municipal councils...😂🤣:face-purple-smiling-tears::hand-orange-covering-eyes::face-green-smiling:
6
Because the Alberta Social Credit Party planted all the petroleum seeds? Is that your theory?
6
"I'm a nasty reactionary. vote for me because I'm honest about how bad I am"?
6
Since it all starts out as sunshine, which is free, the mark-up has got to be far far more than 300%.
5
An app to do the teachers' work! Love it! Both the teachers and the students can stay home now, and the AIs will teach the AIs.
5
This is entirely the wrong way of doing things. She should have put down one of the vets in order to tell the rest of 'em wots wot.
4
Five million football fields? Hmmm, not quite the same frisson as the American politicians who weigh things in pregnant elephants.
4
Call Me Ishmael I have no idea why you're on about the New York Times. It's your obsession, not mine. The point of my post is that Woodward is a well-informed and competent commentator right up to the present, and on the tiny bit of evidence available, Cataractman1 isn't.
4
Well done, City of Belleville. Hope and trust somebody can call out the vandals……
4
@albertannationalist None of his tax cases have been made public yet. You're blowing it out your ass.
4
All the oil in the world and a minuscule population: how can Albertans not be able to look after their own health? The idea is ridiculous on its face.
4
It is incorrect for anyone to talk about "voting once." This is an election for members of the Electoral College and in the general run of things American citizens have one vote in each state where they are registered. It would be perfectly reasonable and legal for, say, a DC resident to vote in the District in the morning, in Maryland and Virginia in the afternoon. Such a person would have voted once each for three slates of Electors. It's a medieval way of running an election, but it does have one big advantage: it's somewhat more difficult for a Trump/Barr gang to rig than a unitary system might be.
3
@clydemifflin3600 I don't particularly like the Liberal Party, but Canada's government is one of the world's best, and you, Glad, as writing stupid things.
3
Ellen, You're delusional.
3
"...a Vegemite sandwich at Tim Horton’s," a fate worse than life itself!
3
No fair! We don't want the poor thing "apprehended": we want the Provincial government to go out and get more friends for it. Warm shelters or mangers for the kangaroos of Queens Park! Tour busses to wave to the kangaroo herds of Algonquin and every other National Park. Two, three, many kangaroos! Don't stop now: this poor single 'roo is pointing the way!
3
Nanos guy is just pulling numbers out of, uh, I'll be polite, out of the air. There were not 150 million votes in 2016: it was just under 135 million for all parties. 65~62 million "win" for Hillary, the other votes spread around.
3
@mtlicq Go to the office, pick up your 50 kopeks.
3
@albertannationalist And "famous billionaire"? We're talking about Donald Trump, grifting deadbeat here.
3
@F_U23 You don't know what they've found or not found -- and you're ignoring the very great deal that is known: undeclared forgiven debt from Atlantic city; the $79 million phoney refund; all the stuff revealed by the New York Times, both in the last week and earlier when they investigated his untaxed gifts from his father and his theft and wastage of his siblings' inheritances. Same old same old: you're lying to yourself and then blowing it out at the world. Pull yourself together, OK? You're not functioning, just tripping over yourself and ruining your own chances.

TRUMP 220000

@garrettknecht658 I don't think it is true that Alberta is not being allowed to get the oil to market. You just made that up out of thin air, Garrett. Every province is suffering because of the Covid close-downs. Alberta is suffering because Kenny wants to give some more tax-cuts to his rich buddies.
3
Trump 227,000. No love anywhere.
3
Nawww. It's still the USA, but it's suffering from a bunch of deadbeat grifter parasites. They'll be told to leave next week and they'll be gone, probably to Russia, otherwise to jail, in January.
2
But he didn't. You lose.
2
Poor dummy doesn't understand politics -- and he's found a bunch of journalists to join him in his miasma.
2
Thank you for asking. Beause. Next question?
2
Blue tsunami.
2
Yer 'Onour, Mr. Nenshi, I hate to break it to you, but almost nobody lives in Alberta and all those "voices of the oil industry" are mostly Maritimers who just arrived during the boom from East Fisherflip. The way to help Alberta best is to get Nova Scotia running.
2
Interesting: I had always assumed that "sweltering" had to do with sweating, but I was wrong. It's from the middle-German "Swolt," to die, so it's quite correct here: the heat of lava is certainly lethal if you get too close to it.
2
@jeffspicolli593 I think that's what he was investigating, off the record, while asking one of the deputy speakers. My impression is that it was misdirected questions, or possibly foul language, or both.
2
You're too modest. Trump 229000
2
@garyarmstrong6985 We reorganize the Prairie provinces into one. Make "Alberta" into a small suburb of Winnipeg.
2
The virus came into North America through Europe.
2
Geraldo, Trumpy doesn't do grace, nor dignity. Greed and calumny, yes. Grace and dignity, no.
2
@rjlkc4668 The love was from half a million parents, some years ago. That 227,000 is the Covid death toll for the United States as of yesterday some time. The great majority of those deaths were unnecessary, having been caused by the incompetence, ignorance, and obtuseness of the current government.
