  1. We don't need more food to eat. The only way to get mass malnutrition today, anywhere on Earth, is to organize it. It takes Marxism, war, or a major natural disaster to arrange for people to go hungry. The critique of Brazilian ethanol is that it's made from the hydrocarbons that are the major inputs to sugarcane. If they were just harvesting sunlight, it would be fine. The problem is they're harvesting ammonia and gasoline-powered farm machinery.
