@robert8552 Robert, You're repeating -- I think probably unconsciously -- Russian propaganda points. Europe's and the United States's financial commitments to Ukraine split roughly 55-45 in Europe's favour -- with the important side-light that Europe is not trying to extort Ukraine's mineral wealth in its day of peril. Trump, by contrast... Not America, BTW: Trump. A weak, silly, man trying to play tough-guy in TV terms, in my opinion.

@InterWebGuy99 Trump doesn't do "scathed." He has come out well from exactly nothing in twelve years of strutting, and it doesn't bother his base base one damn bit.

Max, There's an old jape (perhaps attributable to Winston Churchill back in the days of Lenin and Trotsky) that the USSR was the world's only country with four lies in its name. I''m not sure that the word "Federation" is altogether comfortable up there next to the maybe half-true "Russian." 🥲☺ Slava Ukraine!
