@antonvrb1510 The farmers, who live off the government subsidies and price supports, vote majority Republican. The Democratic parts of the state, where the productivity lives, vote Democratic. That's the Republican principle: whine and throw insults while you beg.

It's not about "protein," you fools. Chinese get all the protein they need from soybeans. Indeed the reason China and India have such large populations is they did well on soybeans and lentils while the stupid Europeans were killing each other over enough land for their furshlugginer pigs and cattle. Meat is a luxury taste, and the Chinese are now rich enough to buy it. That's what this is about. But if you want to maintain your credentials as YouTube level idjits, shure, carry on regardless.
