There's nothing to bargain *for*. This is purely a coordination and efficiency group. Trump -- the business genius of the six bankruptcies -- doesn't do disciplined coordination.

@brianmatzen9617 Brian, Do you have a source for that? Not to disagree, but on its face, it doesn't seem awfully likely. Americans, largely European immigrants to America, won vast numbers of the Laskers and Nobels in the generation after WWII, but is that still happening? I don't know, but it doesn't seem that way. In entertainment, again, most movies are produced in India and China surely? "Broadway" is the equivalent of "Covent Garden," both code words for huge industries. Art? Are you sure you're not just impressing yourself with the huge amounts of money that were spent on it in America -- in the past? In all three, why do you think that? 90? Even if you said 50% you'd need to come up with some sources. 90% looks, um, odd perhaps.

@thedude5040 That calls for both a definition and a source. What do you mean by "research"? For that matter, what's that funny word "accounts for"? Do you mean "spends"? "Patents"? "Talks about," maybe? Suppose they spend half the money? Since they have the highest prices this would buy less than half the results, wouldn't it?

Here you give me an unsubstantiated claim about peer-reviewed articled in support of your unsubstantiated claim about research. Do I assume correctly that you're only talking about English language peer-reviewed articles? And are you really suggesting that articles are the only result and measure of research done? C'mon. Don't be a loser: either back up your claim with some evidence or withdraw it and apologise for being rash and a wee bit nationalist in your boastful post.
