Given that half of all sci-tech PhDs in the United States are foreigners, you maybe ought to be a little bit more careful about who is benefiting ("stealing" in your language, no doubt) from whom. Without immigrants and foreigners the US is a bunch of Evangelical fools handing out smallpox blankets to the Natives. Currently the Evangelicals have the White House, the Senate and the Supreme Court, so the US is in trouble of its own causing.
