  1. This commentator is bad at arithmetic: he says that a cat half alive and half dead is in two states at once. I'm sorry: on Planet Earth 0.5 + 0.5 = 1.0 The cat is in exacty one state, the quantum state of being half alive and half dead. You can argue all you want about what a "quantum state" might be, but no amount of philosophical jiggery pokery will make two halves add up to two.
