  1. Trump's Atlantic City debts were placed with unnamed creditors in 1999 -- and are in default. If he is still cosigned on those debts, then the forgiveness of those debts would be taxable income to him. Statute of limitations does not apply because the non-payment of income tax on the implied income is unpaid every passing year. The criminal offence is still carried on.

You have gained by having somebody make something better or cheaper than you could do it yourself. You are allowing yourself to get suckered into Trump's sick vocabulary, a vocabulary which reflects his own sick world-view, that the only way he can win is if somebody else loses.

He's a Peron-style kleptocrat, and if he had had any brains he would have retired to one of his several luxurious mansions. As things stand, he runs some risk of angry rivals, perhaps from St. Petersburg, or from someplace else that has a genuine economy, tossing him out of the Kremlin and perhaps even handing him over to The Hague for trial. Canada's founding principles are "peace, order, and good government."
