  10. C'mon, fella: the Lao Tze, aka "The Dao de Ching," "Book of the Way," etc., was written by Lao Tze -- the same way Shakespeare was written by Shakespeare. You don't know who he was? I'll tell you the secret: they were Lao Tze and Shakespeare, the authors of the Lao Tze and the works of Shakespeare. Thank you for asking. 'Course what I want to know is, why is it Dao de Ching and not Ching de Dao? And does water spiral down the drain in the opposite direction in the southern hemisphere?

  11. How to use "advocate." "Advocate" takes a direct object, the thing said to be good. I advocate better education. "Advocate for" takes a direct object, the person of cause which one hopes will benefit from the advocacy. I advocate better education for the health and safety of my grandchildren. If Einzelgänger speaks more grammatically we will be better off. I advocate better grammar for Einzelgänger -- for all of our sakes. .
