C'mon, fella: the Lao Tze, aka "The Dao de Ching," "Book of the Way," etc., was written by Lao Tze -- the same way Shakespeare was written by Shakespeare. You don't know who he was? I'll tell you the secret: they were Lao Tze and Shakespeare, the authors of the Lao Tze and the works of Shakespeare. Thank you for asking. 'Course what I want to know is, why is it Dao de Ching and not Ching de Dao? And does water spiral down the drain in the opposite direction in the southern hemisphere?
