  2. she justified her reasons for wanting to lower the minimum wage by saying "People in Africa work for $2 a day" truly an atrocious woman . For anyone not from Australia I will tell you her own kids hate her because she is still trying to screw them out of their share of the  inheritance from her father's death

  3. Mataz007 100% agree ,I'm Australian and never even knew the term "ape" was racist until this happpened . I always thought it was an insult if someone was particularly dumb or perhaps a man of any colour who was particularly hairy . He is the one who made it a racist term . There is a good reason this guy is so disliked and it has nothing to do with racism , it's a card he loves to play and nothing more .

I only sometimes watch the AFL , I support Rugby League and now the indigenous stars of Rugby League  have come out and supported Goodes which pisses me off , along with the fact the media have taken this story and run with it (must be a slow news day) . This Goodes fellow seems to be more about division than anything .

Look at Quade Cooper ( A rugby Union Player) every time he plays in NZ the crowd don't leave him alone and it's not about race it's because they don't like him .

As far as I knew this was a conversation about Adam Goodes being booed at football games which somehow got quite off track .

  13. ochre138 Everyone loves Kathy Freeman . I think people didn't agree with him being named Australian of the year because as far as I can tell he won it for belittling a young girl while there were other "more worthy" candidates . I'm not really  a big follower of any politically motivated awards so I'm not a good authority on the subject . No doubt alot of people also thought he was very deserving of the award . Like I said I don't really follow it .

  15. ***** If you live here and love it then you're an Aussie . I've found that different areas have different attitudes . Just a wild guess but do you live in a "poorer" suburb that is filled mainly with anglos? I have found attitudes in areas like this to be more racist than others .

  17. ochre138 Alot of scientists believe aboriginals were not the first people on this continent and there's certainly evidence they MIGHT be right ,some believe the mungo man is not a "traditional" Aboriginal Australian , it's nothing new . Bringing it up was not trying to justify anything , it was a counter - point in a discussion with someone else so therefore your logic is flawed .
