Blithering Boris, jumped onto the vote leave bandwagon, driven by Cummings , pulled along by the ERG group, ( Bonehead included ) as his route to “kingship “.
Boris is 3rd division, totally out of his depth , and the damage he has caused to the country is colossal. He hasn’t a brain , but is surrounded by MPs and advisors, so extreme , that it is difficult to see anything for this country , except disaster.

@BritishFreedom Yes and I remember that when the UK joined the EEC , we were BANKRUPT, having to go cap in hand to the IMF for a hand out. I thought you would have known that, and I’m sure you know we were the 5th richest country in the world in 2016, but now we are the 6th. Spot the trend ? Need I mention that the £ today is 89% of its 2016 value. Figured it out yet ?
Regarding our fishing industry, it’s worth less than our lawnmower industry, and mainly owned by 6 super rich families. Check out Greenpeace for the way that industry is run.
Regarding our manufacturing base, I’m sure you’ve heard of Margaret Thatcher and her monetary policies and attitude to “lame duck “ industries, and “get on your bike” Norman Tebbit, meaning head to the south and south-east to get a job....places like Swindon. Oh I forgot, Honda in Swindon are closed now because of Brexit. Figured it out yet ? .....Just because you have a 30% pay rise, it doesn’t mean Brexit is working, in fact your pay rise is because BREXIT IS NOT WORKING.
No pay rise for 15 years !! The levelling up Tories have been in Office since 2010. That’s nearly 12 years !! Figured it out yet ?
Don’t pray for that Tory promise...one of many...The Northern Powerhouse !!

What about the cracks in the unity of this country, or is it just those in the Tory party ? Their priorities are ?
Northern Ireland ? Well you get there by sea or air, until the troubles start again. Scotland ? Well if you drive and go via the East Coast, it's one lane in each direction for an appreciable part of the journey north of Newcastle. It makes you feel that Scotland has been abandoned by Westminster. Oh I forgot, it has. Perhaps that's why they want independence from the Union or perhaps I'm missing something ?
The Western Isles ? They are now joined by road. That was money from the EU, not Westminster.
Oh I forgot, this is about unity in the Tory party and f...k everyone else. Sorry but if Boris can say it, then so can I . Have I said something wrong ? We do live in a democratic society , free speech, as long as we don't make inflammatory remarks....unless we're Farage who gets away with blue murder. No I've forgotten Boris again , he can write anything he likes too. Now what was it ? Something about posting letters .
I didn't even mention Brexit !! Well as a nation we are on the edge of a precipice economically and politically , brought about by a long running civil war in this party, and campaign to leave the EU culminating in lies and false promises to the public, an illegal campaign with action in the High Court by the electoral commission . Don't blame the leave voters who were taken in by this campaign, or the EU , or Corbyn. How on earth do you expect unity in this country ? Don't forget 184 Tory MPs voted remain, and 140 voted leave, and the referendum act wasn't even legally binding for Parliament. And you're offering this nation ? I think we deserve better don't you !! Admit it, you want to.
I hope I'm not taking the Lords name in vain by saying "God Help Us "

Constitutional RESEARCH Council , with links to leave.eu and Arron Banks and Nigel Farage, fund the DUP to the tune of around £500,000, and also funds the European RESEARCH Group ......these prestigious sounding titles are a cover for CROOKS who threaten the very democracy, and unity of the U.K.
Constitutional research council....where does the money come from ? They even refuse to answer to the Electoral Commission who themselves are having to be challenged in the High Court because they are not doing their job properly.
WHEN will the National Crime Agency complete its SLOW, EVER SO SLOW, investigation into Arron Banks ? This situation strongly suggests pressure from 10 Downing Street whose only interest is Tory party unity, and not the National Interest....which every serious study has shown that membership of the alliance we call the EU is in the National Interest.
55 Tufton Street. No mention of all the referendum illegality , which would have voided the result, if it had been mandatory on Parliament....yet Theresa May immediately ignored that illegality, and worked energetically to "deliver the will of the people".....delivered by fake viral videos of the ease by which fake immigrants can cross the channel.
"I think it would be a disaster for our economy and it would lead to a decade of economic and political uncertainty at a time when the tectonic plates of global success are moving "..... how prophetic , and we haven't even left the EU. NOW WHY has Andrea Leadsom completely reversed her April 2013 position ??
" My name is Dominic Raab and I'm a Tory , and I don't support the Human Rights Act, and I don't believe in economic and social rights "
Michael Gove, Lord Chancellor, joint leader of Vote Leave and co conspirator with dear old Boris, upholder of UK Law, conducted a referendum campaign which broke the law !!! When is he going to be charged with MISCONDUCT IN PUBLIC OFFICE ????

We had a rooster, he was awfully gay,
We had a rooster, he's funny that way,
And the wife said "Honey, we're losing money"
Because that rooster, he's funny that way,
Then came a chicken, into our yard,
And caught that rooster , right off his guard,
He's layin' hens now, like he never used to,
Ever since that chicken, came into our yard !!!

@orbazel You’re obsessed with migrants.....are you even UK based ? Me thinks you’re racist.
The housing situation cannot be blamed on migrants, but it is beyond doubt that those who came here previously, have been given homes mainly in the midlands and the north , and virtually exclusively in Labour controlled areas. The number of Conservative councils who have “done their bit”, is negligible. Check it out for yourself , as I did in fact over housing prices. However in my last reply , YouTube would not let me include them, so I’ll try again, because having spent a lot of time, I took screenshots. Here goes....
A Guardian article gives....In England, following a tax break, which has driven prices up by 9.8% !!!! in the year to August, the average is £281,000
More searching suggests....Wales £195,000. Scotland £181,000. Northern Ireland (10% increase) £181,000
London £526,000 with average price rise of £33,000 compared to the pandemic.
Tyneside £219,938. Teesside £173,232. Greater Manchester £176,761. Leeds £243,249. Sheffield £191,000. Birmingham £226,798
Nottingham. £239,000. Northampton £286,217. Bristol £352,952. Luton. £274,000. Swindon (Honda deceased ) £276,098
Southend £316,865. Uxbridge (Johnson’s seat) £506,348. Crawley (Gatwick) £349,212. Winchester £605,288 !!!!
Get the map out and spot the trend.....draw your own conclusion. That this situation is the fault of migrants is nonsense, The 10% hike due to a tax break speaks volumes.....government policy....it began with Thatchers monetary policies which Johnson’s Levelling Up, and the Northern Powerhouse con trick is supposed to reverse. This present mob have been in power nearly 12 years, and what have they done ? It’s a racket turning people into wage slaves....and they vote for these crooks. I know you don’t , you just winge on, and blame migrants.

Repeat After Me: I know that Farage has taken his pay cheque, his expenses and his pension pot contributions for 20 years , and has the 3rd lowest attendance record at the European Parliament. 20 years !!! Paid for by the UK taxpayer, but not representing his electorate because he's never there....he represent himself, not you. Me, me, me, and frankly I know best, so give me your vote, but I'll only tell you later what you voted for !!! Be careful with your petty insults, because you're falling into that very category.

@oliverdesvaux No it’s not. If parents want a private education for their children, with smaller class sizes and excellent facilities, they have to be prepared to pay for it......not expect to be subsidised by the general public and/or those who cannot afford private education.
Regarding Grammar Schools , pretending they were all centres of excellence, is simply not true. I went to the historic grammar school in my town, to study maths, physics and chemistry, at A level, with the best grades at O level from my Secondary Technical School, and found the standard of tuition in Maths and Physics abysmal, although the young Chemistry teacher was excellent. I didn’t need Chemistry and had to neglect it, although I passed. Only 2 out of about 14 , passed physics, but it taught me how to self study which was very valuable at University. Many friends went to the other Grammar school in town to study A level and they did very well. That is why I say Grammar Schools were very varied......perhaps if they’d received better funding instead of state recourses being creamed off for private education, the standards would have been higher. I haven’t even mentioned primary education, or Secondary Modern Schools, were so many of my friends were “abandoned “. I didn’t even mention the 1944 Education Act .
PS. Don’t start getting personal, because your slur about “the politics of envy” , I totally reject. I would also point out that in Sweden , 6.8% of their GDP is spent on education, and in the UK it is 4.1%. This finding speaks volumes.

Well I guess Dominic Cummings, Michael Gove and Boris, failed to send 1 1/2 BILLION targeted adds to Honda, in Japanese, to persuade them Brexit was going to be in their best interest. It's going to be tough on the people of Swindon and Margaret Thatchers Grantham with their dependence on Agriculture when they get the Brexit medicine......hemlock !! After all 14.7 million voted to leave in the biggest display of democracy in UK history....didn't they ??? Well actually NO. If you allow for the 16% increase in registered voters since the 1975 referendum, more people voted to remain by a sizeable majority , than leave in 2016.
Come on Rees-Mogg, Gove , Johnson, Fox, Davis and the rest of the ERG Mafia, try talking the hind leg off a donkey....in Japanese !! God help us, but you probably don't know how to open the bonnet of a car.....perhaps if you talk long enough it will open ....by magic ??!!

@BritishFreedom I’m not knocking HGV drivers, but just because you have a relatively decent pay rise, you then conclude that it proves that Brexit is good, while I see that it proves Brexit is bad. In your specific case, driver shortage was predicted by John Major in 2016, and yet the government....King Boris, spending £200,000 to tart up his Downing Street doss....the government , effectively in control since 2010, have done nothing to correct the lorry driver shortage. Don’t blame that on the EU, or the Labour Party , because it doesn’t take 11 years to train to be a HGV driver, but blame it on the Tory government.
I’ve worked widely in the UK and in France, and passing frequently through Dover, I’ve seen the colossal HGV traffic at all hours of the day and night. I’ve seen the lay-byes full of sleeping drivers, and the smells because there are no facilities.
I’ve also seen and experienced the ease at which traffic used to be able to cross the channel, with minimum delay to food deliveries from Spain for example....Yet Dominic Raab one of the leading Brexit politicians, displayed colossal ignorance of the importance of Dover to our economy. Well I’m not an economist either, but it’s not rocket science to imagine the damage to our supply of food, that becoming a third country would cause....and it has !!
Regarding the reading you do etc.... I suspect you read a lot of National Front / BNP /Brexit party Farage literature, and it shows in your twisted views.
Well I have strong views too, and although I was a high rate taxpayer for 2/3 of my working life, I still have all my Dads payslips, and know that the Tory Party is all about self interest, and creaming off the public purse, while conning the working people of this country that they’re doing a good job.
As far as Brexit is concerned it’s a con trick to benefit a few, at the expense of the many. One day you might, just might realise that.
PS. I don’t need you to tell where I can and cannot live.

Daniel Kirkland "...the people's wishes ". Daniel....it's far far far too complicated. To "leave" is an "idea", a "desire", a "concept" which I think it's fair to say was sold to the electorate....in a very sophisticated way by Vote Leave directed by their Dominic Cummings using scientific phsyco analysis of trial Facebook adds, and these adds were blasted out to selected people , identified in this analysis as "persuadable". 1 1/2 billion adds in the last 2 dates before the vote. Did this tactic work ? Well Dominic Cummings thought it did. The difference between remain and leave was around 635,000 votes. That's not a lot to decide the future of the country for another 2 generations.
The remain campaign was lame by comparison.....it's hard to motivate voters to remain for the benefits of the status quo, when for example they're living in perhaps near poverty, angry and frustrated....when their lives are crippled by UK internal politics, and I'm talking about a Tory government which put in place policies, to repay the banking crisis debt, quicker than necessary and by the poorer in our country. Be in no doubt that the EU countries suffered too because of the banking crisis.
Well since the referendum, Parliament has had to try and "engineer" a solution to what you describe as the "people's wishes".....and this has proved catastrophic because leaving takes almost an infinite number of forms....and the CONSEQUENCES are frightening. The leave politicians mainly in the Tory party , have proved to be charlatans who can talk the hind leg off a donkey, and protected from the consequences of the policies they want.
It's NOT THE WAY TO RUN A COUNTRY. The 2016 referendum is now fixed in time, and will be studied for generations , all over the world, to the shame of this country. Revoking Article 50 will not change the referendum, but it will give the people and politicians of this country , breathing space to get to grips with this issue properly, and decide HOW WE WANT THE COUNTRY TO BE FOR ANOTHER 2 GENERATIONS.
I personally see the EU as an ALLIANCE for our mutual benefit....and if there are issues about the operation of that alliance, believe we can and should work for reform from within. On a personal level, my plans for retirement , travelling back and forth via Dover, including my family pets....are now screwed, and for Dominic Raab to be ignorant of the Dover-Calais trade route is unforgivable, and I could figuratively "wring his neck"

Lewis corden Well ask the Joseph Rowntree Foundation !! Phone them up, try google , wake up. Do you think it's "fake news" whatever that means. Ask Rees-Mogg, or Boris Johnson, or National Front Farage, because they'll tell you that after April Fools day, we'll all be rich, because we'll have our laws back, our borders back, our sovereignty back, and that food banks are for losers. What was it about a land fit for hero's, when WW1 ended, 100 years ago ?

Jack Archer You need to read the Guardian 24 March. What exactly were the electorate promised by the leave campaign ? The answer to that question is clear by the absolute chaos reigning since your "win". What exactly is your vision of this country outside of Europe ?
The leave campaign broke the law with respect to funding, the fines imposed being pitifully small for the damage caused to our economy. The immediate consequence of the referendum was a devaluation of the pound and our credit rating falling from Aa1 to Aa2.... This costs the country £5 BILLION extra in debt interest alone, forecast to the mid 2020's. That comes to £45 Billion alone.
Explain why 40% of leave campaign funds went to a small office in British Columbia , in reality a department within Cambridge Analytica. Data harvested from Facebook enabled careful targeting to reinforce people's fears and prejudices, to swing the referendum in favour of leave. Banks has his dirty fingers in all of these pies. Clearly at the moment there is no absolute proof to Russian funding....yet...but his business dealings in Africa which are ludicrous, and his lies about his visits to Russia, strongly suggest their involvement.
No , democracy was weakened, and is being weakened by banks. You are afraid of an honest referendum, and the possibility of a remain outcome. I want an honest referendum because without one there will be economic and social turmoil and damaged to this Nation for at least a generation. Putin has malign intent to this country and banks is a willing tool for personal gain, and unlike you, I do give a damn.

nick grey Hello Nick. That’s 5 pence to you , if it makes you happy. Direct your angst at Rees-Mogg and his ludicrous instructions to his staff which include instructions to use imperial measurements. I’m more than happy to use any system of units , from slugs , to knots, miles per hour, kilometres per hour, pascals, hecta Pascal’s, fathoms, foot pounds, watts, Newton’s per square millimetre, tons per square inch, Mach number, degrees K, degrees C, degree Fahrenheit, degrees absolute.......still with me ?
Sorry what was your point ? Did I miss it ?

@fredrickaappletree3402 I’m well aware that some housing in the UK , well away from the Home Counties , is very expensive, but access to the internet enables anyone to compare comparable house prices throughout the country, and it clearly shows that prices in the South are in general higher than the north. It’s called market forces, because Conservative policies from the days of Thatcher destroyed employment prospects in Scotland, the North, and the North Midlands, and yes people had no choice but to “get on their bikes” and move where the jobs are....in the South. This inevitably created a housing shortage and higher prices. That this occurred is beyond doubt.
Regarding how I know how I know how people voted ? Well I know that since 2010 we have had Tory led governments and today they have an 80 seat majority. Boris Johnson’s pathetic Levelling Up , Northern Powerhouse, is electioneering for the gullible, and an attack upon his own parties policies , certainly since the days of Thatcher. That is my point, and as long as the electorate vote for Tory insanity, they get everything they deserve.
All these posts are in response to the handling of the migrant situation by Boris Johnson and Priti Patel, both of whom are descended from migrants coming here for sanctuary, a sanctuary they deny to others . Indeed I understand Patels father came from Kenya, rather than return to his ancestral home, the Indian subcontinent, because he had a British passport.....and I understand he became a member of UKIP, whose policies seek to deny to others rights and freedoms they themselves enjoy. Johnson is electioneering and trying to raise the Brexit war cry , anti French war cry, to desperately hang onto power.
Madam....your politics are written all over your posts to others above. No doubt you paid your £50 to become a Brexit party plc “supporter”, in reality a “GoFundMe” scam by Nigel Farage. That’s why you’re so bitter. Give me your address and I’ll send you the £50 , because unlike you, I’m kind hearted.

Bryan E Mac Innes Bryan, I didn't ignore your post, but needed more time to read it. I've not followed the history of the EU as its panned out in Eire....I should. But I did read a lot of history when the troubles began, to try and understand....that was in the days when computers used paper tape with lots of little holes, and were for calculation. I did read that there are more people on this island with Irish surnames than in Ireland itself, and anyone interested today, when they put down their daily comic, the Sun etc.., can find out why. Clearly lots of Brits believe the first thing they read in these comics, when today we need to fact check, and fact check again.
I do know that the Fields of France sadly contain the remains of the Great War soldiers from the whole of the Island of Ireland, and we need to heal the division of the past, and that remaining in the EU is the best way forward.
What can I say ...."May the troubles of Erin be over be over, may the bubble of peace be preserved , may the white dove inspire, the people of Ireland, for peace is the least they deserve ". Vin Garbutt.

@ianrwood21 Corbyn was outmanoeuvred by Johnson , and sat on the fence long before that , failing to campaign for the Labour Party position that it was in the UKs best interest to “lead from within” , ie REMAIN. You seriously expect a single reference to support my point of view . 2019 wasn’t just a battle lost , it was a campaign lasting years, lost.....and the people of the UK are worse off for it.
You talk about Brexit/2019 . I’m talking about 2015/2016 when I was working in France for a quite well known British Company, now diversified throughout the EU, and my retirement was approaching. The Referendum campaign was background static, as I went about my business, and hungry for news as I drove back and forth between France and home, I began following the campaign on the car radio. Farage Farage Farage, like a ghetto blaster , and only weeks before the referendum, did I hear Corbyn come out with a half baked , fence sitting bumbling , that Labour preferred to remain in the EU.
The Labour campaign , the Labour Party led by Jewemy, for Remain, was a joke, and every utterance from Corbyn since has been indecisive, a rambling about his principles. That is not leadership . The electorate want clear black and white decisions to make.....and that is why the Tories have an 80 seat parliamentary majority.
You need a reference....quote me, because my retirement plans based upon free movement are in tatters because of Brexit and Corbyns contribution to it.

Danny
Well Danny , the thing is you are expressing your opinion, and not supporting it with any evidence. I've read your posts and correct me if I'm wrong all you are doing is repeating the drivel which got us into this mess. I haven't insulted you directly but I suggest James O'Brien would. However your reply to me suggests that insulting me, is an attempt to stop me writing.
The bottom line is that I have worked virtually all my working life beginning with UK operating as part of EFTA, then when we joined the Common Market leading to EU membership, and where we are today. Now retired,, I am not going to stand by and jeopardise the work of a lifetime, for me, my children and grandchildren, which is threatened by a clique within the Tory Party who have polluted the leave campaign with massive lives, broken electoral law, and corrupted this nation. The difficulty you face, as well as a lot of people, is admitting they you have been taken in by these lies, and begrudgingly changing your mind, because I suggest to you that the leaders of the leave campaign have taken steps to benefit from Brexit , but the reality is that you are going to suffer. Do yourself , your family and friends a favour....look again at why you want to leave, how you will benefit from leaving, and the evidence to support your decision. Don't insult me, bang your fist on the table, shout louder repeating your beliefs....does some hard thinking instead.

Jason Roberts Look Jason. You are convinced that leave is best. Exactly how do you think you will personally benefit ? That is what everyone is asking themselves and to do this we listen to the information presented to us, weigh up its accuracy, and decide. We clearly formed opposing views , and apart from minor "digs, I have tried to avoid throwing insults, labels such as "traiytorr", and foul language except in the case of F...Business Johnson, on the grounds that if its good enough for him, it's good enough for me.
This exchange of views is in response to this report about Banks, throwing money about to deselect MPs. When the seriously wealthy are throwing their money about like this I immediately question their motives. Farage, Rees-Mogg, Johnson, and their backers like hedge fund billionaire Robert Mercer, funded of Cambridge Analytica these people are seriously rich compared to most people. They are not registered charities and I think they have highjacked people's patriotism , with promises of a golden future....we all want that....for selfish gain. The benefits of the EU alliance are harder to wrap up in neat slogans, but I think "pulling up the drawbridge " is a backward step. I've only actively engaged in this debate quite recently, as more and more information about the leave campaigns underhand and illegal activities has come to light, and I think it's fundamentally wrong.

mcmillan20101 Thank you for correcting me, the Tories have done 10% less damage than I've suggested !! And you want to wait and see how Brexit works .....you're so knowledgeable, but seem to be unaware of the 2014 Balance of Competences review which showed EU membership was good for the UK, and the damage assessments David Davis was forced by Parliament to release in 2018, which showed that ANY Brexit was bad for the UK......you see I'm talking about the UK, not just Scotland, because I happen to believe that the future of Scotland is best served by remaining in the UK, and in the EU.
In case you're not sure "My name is Dominic Raab and I'm a Tory, and I don't support the Human Rights Act , and I don't believe in economic and social rights "..... because the Brexit debate is not just about the economy , IS IT .

Josh Asprey I've been busy googling. As i understand it, in the European Council , the highest body in the EU made up by the heads of government , the U.K. Has the same voting power as Germany, France and Italy. In the European Parliament, made up of the MEPs elected every 5 years by the voters, the number of MPs depends upon the population of the country. That seems fair to me.
So unless I am mistaken, what Lord Saatchi is asking for is fundamentally unfair, and I cannot see the EU agreeing, nor should they.
This is typical of the misleading statements these people make, and left unchallenged in the interview . Furthermore during my google search I came across bar graphs which show the very large increase in conflict within the EU caused by the UK, since the Tory party came to office, compared to the previous Labour government. That confirms beyond doubt that this Brexit FIASCO is caused by our Tory government.

actnowone Well Bonny Lad....as interesting as your family history is, my parents were born destitute and died poor, but that wasn't the fault of the EU, it was the fault of the Tory party and Maggie Thatcher. While Mark Thatcher was getting lost in the Sahara on the Dakar Rally, my Dad was put on the dole by his mothers policies, and put on social security after a year, because he was older than 60....and labelled a social security scrounger by the Tory press....so Bonny Ladd don't give me the Mark Francois line about his father fighting for his country on D-Day when my Dad had 6 years as a stretcher bearer, beginning in the 50th Division, if your brain gets the message, and ended his days labelled a social security scrounger.
In a nutshell .....I disagree with you, and I didn't even accuse you of being a blackleg.

@cockneycharm3970 Ohhhh.....you voted Tory in order to get Brexit !!! Have you forgotten that Brexit was the brainchild of the Tory “Rule Britannia “, Global Britain, Northern Powerhouse, Freedom Day, Bull Shitters. What do you know about “workers”, and “old Labour”.....let me guess, you use Facebook, complete all their surveys, you’ve never heard of Cambridge Analytica, and you have a Cross of St George flag in your front garden because you’re English !! Fortunately for the people of the UK, repeat UK, you only get one vote.

@nigeljohnson9820 So you expect a Labour government, barely 2 months old , to achieve what you say , when the Tories had 14 years to do that !!!
As for train drivers, clearly you’re pissed that you weren’t chosen for your ability to perform such a responsible and skilled job. My office was at 41,000 ft and I earned a lot more than train drivers. If you’re not happy with your miserable existence then do something about it. I did, after saving hard for 10 years, when the engineering company I worked for , collapsed under the weight of Thatchers policies which did the very opposite of what you hope for.
So yes I have a number of pension pots, determined not to struggle like my parents did. Today’s pensioners are not all elderly angels . Some pissed away their income , blew their income on regular holidays in the Sun because they “deserved” one, drove around in fancy cars , ate out on a regular basis, etc etc etc. I did none of those , but I’ve been able to buy a house for each of my children. Some pensioners need help beyond doubt, but not all.

Steve S Thé Government promised a referendum as a sop to UKIP and their own right wing extremists, and at the same time the Government believed that it was in the countries interest to remain within the EU, and the pamphlet they funded was their legal right and was lawful. The Electoral Commission laid down the campaign rules. That was in accordance with the Law laid down in Parliament. The Electoral Commission and the Information Commission, have fined the official Vote Leave campaign because they overspent by 10% thereby breaking the Law, and Leave.eu and Arron Banks insurance company, because they broke the Law by illegally exchanging data. The National Crime Agency is investigating Banks to establish the source of his £8 million given/loaned to promote the leave campaig, to see if that was legal. As further breaches of the Law come to light, as they surely will, then the case for annulling the referendum increases.
Irrespective of your personal views, or mine, the future of our country depends upon our values and honesty. The 2016 referendum failed that test and that is why it needs to be ANNULLED AND HELD AGAIN. We are at a crossroads in our history and must get this right.

antony hay No I won't because I already have. First of all David Cameron, the naive ex Etonian that he is, was then our Prime Minister, albeit of a coalition government... He was our elected leader, and the leaflets you refer to stated it was the Governments view that remaining within the EU was in our nations best interest. The Balance of Competences Review was a massive review within every department of government, with input from outside interested parties, not least Eurosceptics, from 2012 to 2014, and this showed beyond doubt that EU membership was GOOD FOR THE UNITED KINGDOM. That was BEFORE the 2016 referendum which was only held by Cameron to fend off the likes of Rees-Mogg, Redwood, Gove, Fox.....and that Tory wannabee Farage.
Keep it up....your talk of Soros, EU Armies and Nazi's is RUBBISH. If anything N ational F ront N igel F arage is just that.....and it shows your extremism for all to see.

@ianrwood21 Exactly why Corbyn should form a new “principled “ party and campaign for his beliefs . I don’t accept your analysis of the EU , but if it is in need of reform then that is impossible now isn’t it.
Don’t talk to me about the world beating UK vaccination effort , compared to the EU,
because to travel abroad one needs proof of double vaccination, and since NHS England who issue that proof, don’t talk to NHS Scotland, Wales or Ireland, there are those who were vaccinated partially in separate“nations” , are denied that proof. That includes yours truly.
Don’t ask me about trading with the EU, go to the government website and do some research.
Excuse me while I rush out to buy food and fuel, because I live in the real world and find Corbyns Socialist Utopia hard to stomach.

@ianrwood21 Your opinion that I am a liar demonstrates your ignorance if nothing else. The UK is now a “third country” or has that escaped you. That means restrictions and checks on free movement for those entering the EU. Those checks may be at point of entry, or once inside the EU. I’m talking about what was once a very straightforward journey back and forth to France, but now no longer. Car insurance, travel insurance, medical insurance, crossing to France with a ham rolls, chicken rolls , and food which can be trashed because it is not allowed. UK citizens could receive medical treatment knowing that costs could be reclaimed using the “health card”. Do I want to be stopped by the Gendarmes or the Douanes in the French interior ??? I haven’t even mentioned the consequences for travel with horses or household pets , and the trashing of the pet passport system to be replaced by very expensive veterinary tests and checks. My retirement was planned around the ability to move freely with only the cost of the ferry and my fuel consumption. Unlike many in the UK who “need a holiday” only to fry their brains in Benidorm, get pissed and eat fish and chips, queuing for hours in airports with poor air conditioning, and then get their scissors etc... confiscated as a security risk, etc etc etc. My plans were for independence and freedom, so don’t you dare tell me I’m a liar, you little s..t

Craig Brexit
Craig , what did the people who voted leave, really vote for ? The people who led the leave campaign each preached for different things, in a slick leave campaign full of lies, and funded illegally. Do yourself a favour and look at the role of Cambridge Analytica in the leave campaign. 2 years later we are in the midst of an even greater national crisis, because reality is now sinking in. As a Nation we have the right to look at the direction we are taking, and be prepared to change/reverse that direction. That's common sense, not disloyalty.
The British people do not like being made fools of, and stubbornness in our national character, while often a good thing, in this situation where time is short, is not good. People need to THINK HARD, and look at facts not the opinions of fantasists.

His Divine Shadow I'm not sure that is an accurate representation of what did occur, but no I wasn't too pleased. Still it showed Boris in all his low cunning Proroguing Parliament for its longest time in history, which resulted in outrage and a call for the reopening of Parliament , which Boris refused .
He has stood before Parliament for 9 days in total, prorogued Parliament for 5 weeks , lost every motion in Parliament , all 6 of them, and has a minority of 41, having lost his own brother. By any measure he is a disaster for the country, as predicted, but he will escape the consequences of his actions.....or so he thinks !! (. Misconduct in Public Office and prison time is what he faces......still he will be ok there as there are ample supplies to satisfy his habit )

Hari Q
The question is why you wanted out, and what you would gain or loose, and perhaps whose fault you thought it was.
Did you vote out because you believed the promises of the leave campaign ? What were those promises ? 2 years since you voted, those promises have been rigorously examined. Were they true ? Perhaps you believed the £350 million per week Brexit dividend into the NHS ?
Did you believe we would be regaining your sovereignty and that the EU is undemocratic ? I could go on, but the leave campaign was full of enormous lies. It was found to be illegal by the electoral commission and has been taken to the High Court.
Consider looking at James O'Briens videos. You don't have to believe him either, but try to think beyond the newspapers .
Regarding the benefits of Brexit try " James Hunter talks Brexit, including what leaving on WTO rules would mean ". Ask yourself why the Government are stockpiling essentials, and planning food and petrol rationing. James Hunters video should explain that.
You don't think the EU does anything for the UK ? Try " Bombardier, US tariffs, steel wars and the EU ". In a nutshell the USA has and is imposing unfair trade tariffs against the UK and only with the EU's support, because as a trading body is as big as the USA, and retaliatory action, have the USA backed down.
Do yourself a favour, and watch and think hard about what's going to be best for you.

@seang2700 The first ever referendum in the U.K. was in response to a Labour manifesto promise that if they won the General Election, they would renegotiate the terms of EEC membership, and then let the electorate decide. The Remain result was decisive for 2 + generations , until the Tory civil war kicked off ( its still on ) in earnest in 2010 . Thereafter the animosity from the Tory party in government, measurably increased ( yes, studies have measured it ) towards the EU.
The opinion poll of 2016 was an exercise in saving the Tory party from eating itself, with personal ambition….Johnson , Gove, ERG …coming first, party interest second , and bottom of the list National Interest…..and was by any measure conducted fraudulently and illegally.
You can’t build national consensus based upon lies which make people poorer, remove their freedoms and remove those freedoms of movement which we’ve enjoyed since the EU was formed.
