The only difference between a normal person that only knows about of his ancestors three or four times removed with nobility, high, low, and even landed gentry is that all the lasts kept charters of their families, from them there are always in the families that dedicate their retired years to write family books. in my family it took two retired Colonels to do the work and after came Internet.
