Dearest Max and Aaron, I lived the last months and days of Allende and that was crazyness the said trucks strike wasn't promoted by USA, most of the trucks were Pegasos an Hispanic factory with leases of the Hispanico-Americano bank that went almost broke because Allende government forbode the dollar payments to Pegaso, the same thing happened with the missing parts as wheels, so the moment they broke down they were out of business, most of the owners had one or two trucks, so they parked them all in a place called Talagante, and the farmers surrounding them that were also f*** by the goverment would donate the material and they cooked in huges cooking pots for everybody, truckers would sleep by the side of their trucks. I could go on and on with this obscure story, mind you Allende was a Fabian and his medical Doctorate went about the value of eugenetics.
