It amazes me how the world thinks it’s ok for Russia to strike out at Ukrainian. The free world give the Ukrainian weapons’ to defend but not to retaliate. Maybe if one of Russia’s cities was destroyed, the Russian people would take Putin by the neck and lock him up. He’s a power hungry fool who’s trying to recapture the distorted past.Ukrainians , they're not ordinary people at all - they display extraordinary strength of character, determination, initiative, kindness , generosity and self sacrifice in the most extreme circumstances and prove that the light of humanity can still shine in the midst of utter darkness. They are the winners!

The answer was the ratification of the 94 Budapest Memorandum on Security assurances which Clinton forgot. This would have kept Ukraine out of NATO for Russia while giving Ukraine a US security guarantee. No way Russia would have made this move with a real commitment for say a no fly zone. Biden’s weakness and the EUs dependence on Russian energy opened the door for Putin’s evil invasion, it is time to close it. Allies don’t let allies buy non-allied energy.

British Professor Anthony Glees discussed the state of Russian forces in Ukraine and said that the invading nation could be headed toward a "significant defeat." Glees is a "nationally and internationally published expert on European affairs... and security," and currently serves as an emeritus professor at the University of Buckingham."We and the Americans assess that 75,000 Russian soldiers have either been killed or been wounded," the professor said. "That's a hell of a lot. And 80 percent of active Russian forces are now bogged now in the east of Ukraine. Putin had hoped to win this war in a matter of days, and what has actually happened is that it is grinding, not towards a stalemate but a defeat. It seems that if the battle of Kherson ends up in Ukraine's favor, Russia will have suffered a significant defeat." Five months after Russia invaded Ukraine, the war is now reduced to one of attrition. The current dirty, grinding slog is fought mostly with artillery and rockets. Everything from Ukraine’s shopping centers to apartment buildings—and the civilians in them—are Russian targets. So far - only Ukraine Then - Baltics Poland- then you!

Putin is following the maxim of Lenin: “You probe with bayonets. If you find mush, you push. If you find steel, you withdraw.” So far, Putin detects more mush than steel in the West. The U.S. and its erstwhile allies, like Canada, have a clear choice: either sustain substantial financial and military support for Ukraine and more effective sanctions to forestall a Russian victory — as the valiant Ukrainians deserve — or face an ignominious defeat far greater than the Afghan debacle.
