This is a continuation of war, terror, and criminal blackmail!There are conspiracy theorists on the left and on the right who misinterpret Washington’s pre-invasion messaging as an intentional trap to lure Russia into a war. This sort of speculation is risible. There is a much simpler explanation: poor leadership in America and lethargic diplomacy.

Very funny....Smiling and joking.... People are dying every day. Children. .Perhaps Putin would have hesitated, if President Biden had not repeatedly underscored what the U.S. would not do. The only effect of that overcautious messaging and the promise not to send U.S. troops was to invite Moscow to march right in, as if it were Prague 1968 all over again. To the surprise of everyone, however, Ukraine fought back. It amazes me how the world thinks it’s ok for Russia to strike out at Ukrainian. The free world give the Ukrainian weapons’ to defend but not to retaliate. Maybe if one of Russia’s cities was destroyed, the Russian people would take Putin by the neck and lock him up. He’s a power hungry dictator who’s trying to recapture the distorted past! Putin is following the maxim of Lenin: “You probe with bayonets. If you find mush, you push. If you find steel, you withdraw.” So far, Putin detects more mush than steel in the West.
