  1. There appears to be no shortage of the ways that Russia is going to fight their war in Ukraine including BIG LIE!!! If Putin can smash Ukraine into submission, the former jewel in the Russian imperial crown, then he thinks he can eventually swallow all the remaining former Soviet republics that are far less formidable than Ukraine. The United States is nearing a gut-check decision. Putin is following the maxim of Lenin: “You probe with bayonets. If you find mush, you push. If you find steel, you withdraw.” So far, Putin detects more mush than steel in the West.
