  1. Jack Mcslay - When I was at Armor Officer Basic we had a class on the care and feeding of the M139 20mm auto cannon. One heck of a gun, but Hispano-Suiza designed it as an aircraft gun and it wasn't very happy about being mounted on an M114. Of course, several minutes later, as I toiled over my gun, I heard 1. Twang!! 2. "JESUS CHRIST" !!! 3. Blam!! By a miracle, the thing didn't hit anyone, but it put a dent in a concrete block wall

  2.  @andrehashimoto8056  Not quite, the WW2 gun was the HS404 in 20X110 mm, the M139 was the US version of the post-WW2 HS620 (Oerlikon KAD) in 20X139 mm
