  1. I'm a bit surprised that it was rated so high. I can tell you as an old soldier that the prime attribute of all your equipment is RELIABILITY. It has to work when you need it. Period. The toggle action works as a pump to pack dust, dirt, crud into the action. And I picture the Mexican cavalry patrolling the deserts that form the northern half of the country - which says dust getting into everything.  MISFIRE ! Contrast the M1911 trials where the holsters were deliberately packed with dirt to determine its resistance to such conditions.
