Festival brings happiness and aha moments in life to the devotees ; It brings good Business ( price no matter for the stuff sold ) to many communities living nearby the temple ; It is a Tourism day ; It involves holiday & travel , buying materials , have enough darshan of close-to-heart deities ( NOT like Thirupathi were people are pushed away within few seconds ) ; After darshan go to nearby restaurants , order and eat dishes on family tables (or) eat homely foods in the temple grounds that is brought with them ; These type of grand festival ( Azhagar perumal getting down into the river vaigai ) involves so much soul satisfying happiness to all concerned ; There is no discrimination such as Hindus , Muslims , christians etc ; All are in the same platform ; It is a public function ; Atheists have no clue to the crowds and its wild celebration ;
