  1. Thank you so much for showcasing Bishops Palace. I had never heard it referred to as Grisham’s Castle. It is my favorite house in the world. It speaks to my soul. I have toured it at least a half dozen times but never got to see the third floor, the boys’ rooms. The Grisham’s had 6 children and were very devote Catholics. You didn’t get to see the Solarium and the cherubs painted on the ceiling at the end of the video were painted by Mrs. Grisham and they are portraits of her children. Finally Nicholas Clayton, probably my favorite architect, design many beautiful buildings, some of which still stand today and can be seen on a walking tour of The Strand.
