@zebageba Probably not, but quite a high % of the population get their main news only from a “trusted source”, generally a country’s national broadcaster or mainstream newspaper. Until recently, while that menu would have been overly narrow, they would have reported every major national & international story (the fact of it, if with a horrible political slant). Those who’ve not seen it happen simply don’t believe their main broadcaster now (1) chooses often not even to mention a major story & (2) tells overt lies about a story. If for example you prove it by showing a major story in an independent publication, a natural response is that they’ll tell you that the “independent publication” is flat out lies.
