$600 is such a low threshold. The only people who even get a chance to avoid taxes are Yellen’s pals. We who get paid by an employer almost always get paid net of deductions. You don’t get a choice but to pay our taxes. $10,000 is different. Not many of us make many payments often over that value, do we? Once a year, tops, me. Car transactions, mostly. I’ve never cheated on taxes & zero occasions where I could have considered it where I wouldn’t have been sure to have been caught. I’m neither a criminal nor stupid.
