  2.  @amalguptan6716  A council who is controlled by the politburo who have been instructed by the former supreme leader on who should be their heir . LOL It's a country with only ONE party, composed of the same old elites who have cemented their power. The fact that Xi, Deng, or Mao have never had to campaign for their election makes it clear that they don't need to. The "people's republic" is the greatest joke of Mao and the former Soviet Union.
