  1. How to eat fermented fish the proper way: use it as a flavoring, and for goodness' sake, sautee it first with spices. That's how we do it in Asia. Just eat a tiny bit of it with rice. Don't eat the entire thing on its own. LOL Without anything to balance it, of course it will be disgusting. It's very salty, very fishy, and very umami.
