  1. You make it sound like they were cannibals by default. They were not. The El Sidron, Moula-Guercy, etc. remains is an anomaly, happening on a very specific period in time. They likely didn't kill at all. It was cannibalism by necessity. They were literally starving, and thus resorted to eating their dead. Humans have done that. It's a story of desperation, not bloodthirst.
