  1. A monarchy isn't per definition more or less democratic. The truth is that our monarch represents a nation that only exists politically. Being Belgian doesn't mean anything, the countrie doesn't unify its people culturaly or in any other manner. Flanders should depart not because I hate the idea of a monarchy (wich I don't), but because it would be more democratic and it would genarate a more meaningfull identity.

  2.  @tibodeclercq2131  You are talking about a French speaking minority that was very often part of the bourgeois. It's weren't 'the Walloons' it was often even Flemish people who betrayef their heritage and began speaking French to gain social status. Walloons too were victim of this, they didn't speak French they spoke some other Roman language and were assimilated by the French language and culture because French was seen as a more civilised langue. I wan't and indipendant Flanders because we have our own culture, language and identity not beacause I hate the Walloons or our monarchy (wich I don't, but I do hate the idea of a king for a very artificial nation).
