Patriotism can be defined many ways. I'm a veteran and will always support and defend the Constitution. However I do not support Trump. I do support the 2nd Amendment. I don't support Illegal immigration and never have. I don't support a border wall. We don't have "open borders". I don't support racism or bigotry Trump is NOT a patriot.

If we're going to acquit Trump based solely on his word "he did nothing wrong". then every criminal in jail who claims they are innocent should also be set free based on the claim they are innocent. What's the point of having a justice system, we'll just use the honor system.

@petehenry7878 , I'm not defending Obama, but perhaps research "participating providers". There are thousands of Private practice Doctors in this country, they cannot be forced to participate in Government subsidized healthcare. "Republicans weren't going to waste time on political theater." So if/when a President abuses the office of POTUS, we should let that stand not hold him (or her in the future) accountable for their actions, simply because it takes too long? If the President is not held accountable for crimes against the country, it's start us down a dangerous path from which there is potentially no return. If Trump is acquitted for his crimes, it's sets a dangerous precedent for future Presidents. I'm sure Republicans will be the first to cry foul of a future Democrat starts to behave the same way Trump has done during his time.

@pk7ghalm23 , everything Trump does is based on EMOTION. He's becomes an emotional train wreck whenever things don't go his way. A month long government shut down and nearly a million government employees fired in the attempt to get his border wall funded. We're still no closer to getting a border wall built than his first day in office.

@pk7ghalm23 , new border wall? they are simply REPLACING old border wall. nothing new. New would mean building a wall that didn't previously exist in places where there is known to be illegal crossings. 100 miles? only 1900 more to go and $50 billion of Tax payer money.

Back in Black , interesting how Trump "supports" trade agreements, but then wants to slam everyone with tariffs if they refuse to cooperate with his demands. Art of the deal, huh? Do what I say or else.... BTW, Americans will ultimately be paying for Trumps Tariffs and trade deals in the end, not our trade partners. We get the shaft.
