  3.  @spartamerican6758  I’ve seen this comment made several times over the past year “I haven’t seen Democrats this angry since we made them give up their slaves” Modern day Republicans referring to slavery in the 1800’s and claiming they freed the slaves. The problem with this statement is that it’s Historically inaccurate. Firs off, LINCOLN Freed the slaves with the Emancipation Proclamation, Not the Modern Republican Party. The Democratic Party was Founded in 1828 as Conservative to preserve slavery in the SOUTH. The Republican Party was Founded in 1854 the NORTH to fight slavery Democrats and Republicans of that time where basically the exact opposite of what they are today.
