@ 3:30 Andrew what about a private family foundation? Everything donated into it from a trust is 100% tax free 0%. Then loan can be made from the foundation back to the business trust. The interest rate is then an expense.

Id lov to see a comparison of Act 60 and a Private family foundation. One is public and the other private.

@hornbaker thanks, good insights. are you considering a non operating private foundation? not a red cross type. its the same structure as all the elites; buffett, bezos, cli ntons, zucker berg, gates. its the CRT that cannot be passed on to family or benefactors. the big thing im concerned about the PFF is the intent for profit that the IRS might determine. It can be a great tool for the trust or llc to donate into and then invest through.

and the Act 60. yes im quite familiar with it, i lived there last winter, got approved for the program, and planning to relocate, however im looking to see if theres any other viable options (PFF, CRT or others) because id like to be free to be a nomad/ and travel wherever id like to. however PR only requires 6 months so that could work out still.
