  28.  @benedictsawyer8012  That would be a problematic claim because NATO was not in the country when the Libyan civil war started. They had been out of the country for 6 years and Libya was under single government for 5. Additionally, Libya was in active civil war when NATO arrived. So if there was an ongoing civil when NATO arrived, how could you justify the claim that NATO started a civil war?? This is the timeline: February 15, 2011 the Libyan public starts a rebellion in Benghazi and tries to oust Gadaffi February 17, 2011 -- the first civil war starts March 17, 2011 -- The United Nations authorizes military intervention to stop the war March 19, 2011 -- NATO arrives to remove Gadaffi and stop the war October 23, 2011 -- the first civil war ends October 31, 2011 -- NATO leaves the country. August 8, 2012 -- single government is setup March 16, 2017 -- another rebellion/coup and Libya devolves into double government As you can see from the timeline, NATO was not in the country when either the first or second civil war started. So NATO could not have "started the civil war." As far as I am concerned, if they cannot hold their own country together after 5 years of single government, what happens after that is on them. Also, it was NATO -- not "America" . . . and NATO had a United Nations approval vote to remove Gadaffi. And seeing as Gadaffi was an evil tyrant voted by the United Nations to be deposed, his "warning" anybody about anything really does not carry much weight . . Does it? If I were an evil tyrant about to be deposed, I would try every possible warning that I could think of. 🤷‍♂️ (You understand that I can look this all up and do not have to just go by false rumors that negative people make up about America . . . Right?) (Which is what I suggest you start doing.)
