  19. ​​ @Yavayen Iran has been warned many times to get rid of the nuclear weapon. They knew this would happen but refused to listen. Iraq got their nuke blown to bits several years ago. From history, Iran knew Israel was not bluffing. If Iran kept developing a nuclear weapon after clearly being warned, it is difficult to make a case that Israel escalated. It would be considered a preemptive strike.
