6 million people cannot stop driving their cars. Just pull your airbag fuse and disable it.

@jamesroosa2924 Not the best thought. Everything mechanical wears out . . . even your body.

Get a Cybertruck . . .

@jamesroosa2924 Dude. I was a professional auto mechanic in 1976. I think I know what kind of speedometer they had and how long the cars last. At 100,000 you need to rebuild the engine. Then the car is good for another 100,000. If you keep repairing a car, it lasts forever. There is no such thing as "how long does a car last." Have you never heard of a frame-off restoration? Those older cars are off the road because either they crashed and somebody did not want to fix them and called the junkyard or they needed a repair and somebody did not want to fix it and called the junkyard. Some people just prefer to buy a shiny new car than to keep driving an older car (which is just their personal preference because you can paint an old car). (and rechrome the bumper) It is a personal choice. Even today, you can rebuild an engine or transmission for $3500. But buying a new car will cost you ten times that. But people still make that choice. Incidentally . . . The average person drives 12,000 miles a year. Eight years of daily use is really an incredible amount of time for a piece of spinning metal to last. That is not exactly the definition of junk.

@jamesroosa2924 Sorry guy. I know what it is. I am currently having some mental health problems. That was my dyslexia speaking. I need to slow down and proofread my work. But even when I do, I cannot see all of the mistakes.
