  1. "Blinking" is nothing. This is just some false sensationalist parameter that the media sets up to try to make the political news interesting. It is as dumb as asking a president what they will accomplish in the first 100 days. No one "blinks" in business negotiations. It does not matter who goes first because it is not some kind of a battle or a Mexican standoff. Trade negotiations are about getting a good deal for your country -- not proving you are valiant. You do whatever you need to do to get a deal. The whole world is falling into the trap of trying to go by the false parameters that the media sets up for people in every area of life. IGNORE THEM.
