You are focusing on completely the wrong issue. Europe is full of socialist states. Socialism has nothing to do with anything. The issue is that China is a fascist state.

It is not a multipolar world. It is a bipolar world.
1
@YilyFoote No it isn't. It is becoming increasingly bipolar between the West, and those against the West.
1
@jiachen2526 Not gonna happen. Do not fool yourself. The communist government is only rooting for 100% world dominance.
1
@jiachen2526 You do not know China.
1
@jiachen2526 Apparently not.

Have you ever been to the United States? Do you know what "living in poverty" is like in the United States? Living in poverty in the United States is: Sharing a 2 bedroom apartment with 1 roomate. The apartment has nice carpet and nice furniture. The apartment has central heating and airconditing. The apartment has all appliances; refrigerator, stove, toaster, microwave oven. The apartment provides washing machine and electric drying machine. They work 8 hours per day, 5 days per week on a pleasant job. They own a car. They have plenty of money for food and eating out at restaurants. They have extra money to buy clothes and shoes and toys. You could only wish to be poor in the United States.

@inframental Why resist capitalism when this is what we see from the American angle?
1
@inframental Jack Johnson is an American and earns $775,000 per year.
1
@inframental Jack Johnson is an American. He earns $775,000 per year and pays taxes on that money to the United States government.
1
@inframental You are just spewing a lot of propaganda that is not real. What are you talking about "abusing other people's resources" ? Are you talking about mining in other countries? That is done under the laws of those countries and provides job there that pay higher. A win-win situation is not "abusing."
1
@inframental You should think about that you are going to Hell 🌅 over that filthy language.

@k.umquat8604 The OP was talking about the 40 million Americans who are classified by the United States government as living below the poverty level. He was not talking about the 620,000 homeless Americans.
1
@YessirImDre We are not here to argue about who is the most poverty stricken. If we were, my next door neighbor would beat you. But she is disabled and living entirely off of SSI. The OP was talking about the 40 million Americans who are living below the poverty level classified by the United States government. One neighborhood does not have anything to do with 40 million Americans. Anybody earning an entry-level wage can live the way I described. So tell your neighbors I said to get off of welfare and GET A JOB. And there is no housing problem. The home ownership rate is 65%. That is a good rate. And . . . no . . . I am not "wrong."

What are you even talking about??? The Puerto Ricans have complete sovereignty NOW. They make 100% of their own decisions, the the United States government does not tell them ANYTHING. Anytime that the Puerto Ricans want to be independent, they can vote to do so. But they do not want out of territory status. So the United Nations can BUT OUT of Puerto Rico's business.
1
What kind of crazy logic says that the richest men in the world care about what happens in Puerto Rico??? They have never been to Puerto Rico and do not know anything that goes on in Puerto Rico.
1
No "capitalism is not imperialsm." You are a liar.
1
No poverty IS NOT "eradicated in China." The Chinese government pulled a sleight of hand of lowering the official poverty level so that everybody fell above the line. That IS NOT "lifting people out of poverty." 400 million Chinese people still earn and live on $2.25 dollars a DAY. That is the official poverty level in China. You try living on $2.25 dollars a DAY and you will find out what poverty really is.
1
@YessirImDre In the places where housing prices are exhorbitant, that is not caused by free-market capitalism. It is caused by government interference in the free market through fees, permits, and zoning. If the blue local governments would stop interfering in the free markets, that problem would fix itself.
1
@YessirImDre I described the inside of people's houses and you only mentioned how the houses look from the outside. No . . I am not "wrong."
1
@YessirImDre You are going to Hell 🌅 for using filthy language, and you are permanently blocked for the same reason.
1
@jiachen2526 That is a really stupid thought. China only has a long history because human life started closer. That is all.
