  3. @salsa564  Why is my comment "absurd" ? Everyone in the world is created by God and God loves all of his creation. Christians love their friends and their enemies, and most of the West is Christian. If you love someone, you are going to be happy for them to be successful and to have a good life. “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I say to you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who spitefully use you and persecute you, that you may be sons of your Father in heaven; for He makes His sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust." -- Jesus -- Cheering for others to win a race and encouraging others to do well originates from being a good, nice, and kind-hearted person.
